Welcome to the Emerald City Hockey projected protection lists page. In the upcoming Kraken expansion draft on July 21st, every participating NHL team will be able to protect a list of players from being selected by Seattle. These protection lists are our best prediction for which players will be protected by each of the 30 teams in the real expansion draft. We use these lists to form our projected roster, which can be found in the “Projected Kraken Roster” tab on the website menu.
